Born and raised in Napa Valley, Tony Nichelini started Tony’s Valley Express Trucking company in 2001 as a way to meet the increasing operational needs of the local wine industry.
His strong work ethic, dedication to customer satisfaction, and strong ties to the community have built it into a tight-knit family business that is able to meet the various needs of companies of all sizes.
Our array of Bobtail trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers ensure that no job is too big or small to handle. We thrive on developing amazing relationships with our clients and providing consistent, dependable service.
Tony Nichelini
Founder
Tony is the quintessential country boy! Growing up in the Nichelini winery house. Running the hills of Chiles Valley. Graduating from St.Helena High school in 1973.
He worked as a sod hauler before he could even legally taste the wine his family had been making for 86 years. A few years later he landed a job at St. Helena Zumwalt Ford in St. Helena where his Father (Bill Nichelini) worked his entire career. Tony spent 20 years running the Service department.
In 2001, Tony purchased his first truck and was coined “the barrel guy” loading, hauling, buying, selling and cutting barrels. As the local industry grew, so did TVE. Tony strived to build a family owned and operated business and he did succeed!
Monica Woloscsuk
Second Generation
Monica didn’t grow up the quintessential country girl. Spending her childhood up valley in St. Helena, then, graduating from Justin Sienna in 1998, Monica studied business in college.
Worked locally for an Environmental Scientist doing business administration for 6 years, then switched gears and spent 7 years in Napa Valley Hospitality. In 2012 Monica joined TVE, helping to bring the company into the 21st Century.
And this makes it truly a family owned and operated business.
